Disgaea Mayhem Chara Worlder Guide — Character Enhancement & Evility Slots

Complete Chara Worlder guide for Disgaea Mayhem. Character World dungeon mechanics, Evility slot unlocks, cross-weapon skills, Magichange extensions, and optimal skill tree paths for each character.

The Chara Worlder is the final facility to unlock in the Overlord's Castle and provides the most powerful character enhancements in Disgaea Mayhem. By entering the Character World — a specialized dungeon tied to individual characters — you unlock additional Evility slots, cross-weapon-type skills, and Magichange duration extensions that are unavailable through any other system.

This guide covers the complete Chara World system: dungeon mechanics, skill tree progression, floor-by-floor rewards, and recommended paths for each character.

Chara Worlder Overview

The Chara Worlder unlocks late in the story (Chapter 12+) and allows you to enter the Character World through each individual character. The Character World is a dungeon with enemies that scale to your character's level, providing increasingly difficult challenges and powerful rewards.

Chara World Strategy

When to Enter

Enter the Character World only after completing at least 3 Reincarnation cycles and reaching level 1,000+. The enemies scale to your level, and floors 31-50 require significantly enhanced stats to clear. Rushing into the Chara World before you're ready wastes time on failed runs.

Clear Strategy per 10-Floor Block

  1. Floors 1-10: Use standard combo chains — enemies are manageable
  2. Floors 11-20: Add Magichange for boss floor — enemies are at your level
  3. Floors 21-30: Use Magichange on each boss floor — enemies are 1.2x your level
  4. Floors 31-40: Full optimization — combo chains + Magichange + skills
  5. Floors 41-50: Maximum effort — enemies at 2x your level require perfect execution

FAQ

Is the Chara Worlder worth the time investment?

Yes, for endgame content. The additional Evility slots and Magichange extension provide unique benefits unavailable elsewhere. Two extra Evility slots let you stack powerful passive bonuses that significantly increase combat performance. The +2 seconds Magichange extension adds meaningful burst time for boss fights.

Should I do Chara World runs for all characters?

Focus on your primary character first. The Chara World takes 30-60 minutes per character per run, and the rewards are character-specific. Invest in your main character until they've cleared all 50 floors, then move to your secondary.

Can I re-enter a character's Character World?

Yes. After clearing all 50 floors, you can re-enter to earn additional stat node clusters on subsequent runs. However, the unique rewards (skills, Evility slots, Magichange extension) are one-time unlocks per character.

What happens if I fail a Character World run?

You respawn at the last save point (every 10th floor) with full HP. Cleared floor rewards are permanently retained. Only the current floor's progress is lost. You can retry any number of times without penalty.

Does the Chara World provide EXP?

Yes. Character World enemies provide EXP like any other enemies. Set the Cheat Shop EXP to maximum for efficient leveling during your runs. The Character World also provides weapon proficiency experience.
